Co-Founder & Executive Director
Llewellyn Boggs
Llewellyn is one of the co-founders of Food Not Bought and will be continuing in her role of Executive Director with the organization. Llewellyn started FNB, alongside her partner Julia, while attending York University together. During her studies she realized the severity of food insecurity in Canada. FNB began with the hopes of helping individuals affected by food insecurity within our local communities. The global pandemic only reinforced the urgency of this problem which ultimately led to the organizations success. Llewellyn has now begun law school at Queen’s University in hopes to use her legal studies to further aid her in her work with FNB.

Julia thoroughly studied the injustice of food insecurity throughout her bachelors degree and wanted to use her studies as a way to help those struggling within her community. Julia is now a J.D candidate and is excited to use her legal education to further her knowledge on the subject and inspire change in the legal world.
